Featured Wedding | Elizabeth and Andrew

If the bride is a teacher, you know there will be some ADORABLE DIY details! This wedding is so darn cute with the green apple theme the bride chose for her big day. The wedding is filled with chalkboards, green apples, DIY monograms and details and the most precious two little boys that “rang” in the bride’s arrival down the aisle. I mean, who doesn’t love two little ring bearers with signs that say “Here Comes the Bride!” The details weren’t the only thing that caught my attention in this wedding. It is so apparent in every image that the couple in love, the wedding party and the guests really had a BALL at this event! I love it when you can see how a wedding brings everyone together in celebration, love and happiness, especially when the bride and groom tailors all the details perfectly to their love story!

Boys will ALWAYS be boys… Even on the biggest day of their lives!

GUSH!!! Too Cute! And the adorable DIY details lining the aisle, LOVE!

How cute is this sweetheart set-up!?

“DIY projects included reception centerpieces, ceremony decorations, cocktail hour decor, cocktail hour games, advice trees, and even the Italian dessert bar (over 700 cookies and pastries!) were homemade treats made by my grandmother (her gift to us). The paper goods used for the wedding were no exception. To make the invitations, programs, and menus I started with templates from Joann’s and Michael’s and then built on those templates with computer editing software and scrapbook materials to make them our own!”

Tebowing!

Adorable DIY change up of the tradition escort card! Wine glasses painted with chalkboard paint with guest’s names. Also love how the bride tied in the green apple theme with the covers!

Late night Krystal Run! Perfect for a party where everyone is having a ball!!

The bride’s favorite thing about the dress was that she was able to change the look from the ceremony to the reception with a hidden zipper that was able to be unzipped to reveal a slit on one side of the dress. Love the look!

Elizabeth’s advice for our brides planning now:

“My advice for brides that are planning now is to set a schedule for yourself and stick to the schedule. Make sure all major items like the date of the wedding, ceremony site, reception location, caterer, DJ, and photographer are checked off your list first so you can focus in on the details.”
