Hey lovely bride! I’m the owner and editor of The Jacksonville Bride. I am so thrilled you stopped by to meet me, and I can’t wait to get to know you! I was born and raised right here in Jacksonville, Florida, and wouldn’t trade it for the world! I have always been a lover of style, fashion and the art of “I Do.” In 2010, I started planning events and formed A White Veiled Occasion, a North Florida event planning company. Because of my experience in event planning and understanding that it takes a lot of attention to the little details as well as the larger components of a wedding, I decided to start The Jacksonville Bride, to give brides here in my home town, as well as across the world, inspiration, tips and a dose of creativity each day to get you falling head over heels for all things “I Do!”

Laura Seeback grew up on the palm tree’d sands of Florida’s Space Coast, moving to Jacksonville to study Fine Art at the University of North Florida in 2007. She has a keen eye for color, style and fashion. Every week, enjoy her bridal and bridal party stylings on Fashion Friday!

Amber is our real weddings gal with a natural eye and talent for all things wedding. She is a wedding planner and event designer for Flaire Weddings and Events here in Jacksonville as well as the owner of Amber Veatch Designs, a custom event detail shop. She’s a sucker for a perfectly designed party whether it be for 6 or 600 and you can bet at any given moment she is creating some swoon worthy details for showers and parties all across the country!

John Powers is the owner of Visual Power Cinema, a North Florida cinematography company, along with his wife Angel Powers. They specialize in shooting weddings and fashion, with experience in TV documentaries, commercials, music videos and feature films. One of John’s feature films is premiering at the New York Film festival in April 2012.
